The importance of acting like a lady
When you are interested to become a lady, it is something that cannot be found in a dictionary. It is not enough to sit down in front of the computer and research its meaning and importance. It has to come from within. There is a difference between being a woman and a lady. Ladies are made.
Eventually every girl will grow into a mature woman but there's only a handful amount of girls that develop into a feminine, cultured, refined, respectable and well-mannered woman, also known as a lady. It has become very important to reach this level of excellence in present time as well as in the past. Being courteous and considerate were things that were taught many years ago.
People that have these qualities are looked up to and are respected. I feel that, as a woman, to be respected is very important in our everyday lives. In order to be respected, we must first respect ourselves. We should look after our appearances, dress modestly and in a ladylike fashion to give a great first impression. Our personalities must match these appearances therefore we must act polite, modest and womanly.
In the 21st century, women have reached a higher level of importance in our society. They have risen and are fit for education, workmanship and politics. Being ladylike gives a sense of power and leadership. The most powerful women in our world are also very cultured and ladylike such as royal families and high societies.
Ladylike is an intangible somewhat mystical quality that surrounds a woman. Since ladylike women are envied so much by others for their qualities, they can be very influential towards the community. If they are charitable and help the disadvantaged, they will influence others to do the same. Being ladylike is not a surface quality, it's mostly shown by the way they treat others and it's crucially important.
Girls want to be ladylike just like boys want to be gentlemens. Why is that? When young girls play with barbies they dream about being princesses. Being a princess represents all qualities being ladylike. Some of the qualities include being gentle, generous, kind, well-mannered and elegant. This allows you to become the BEST version of you as a girl and a woman and that is why acting like a lady is so important.
Being a lady today is very important. We are the leaders of tomorrow, we have to set the bar high. Teenage girls believe that equality can be achieved through acting like the male species does, yet it is much harder than "getting with" as many boys at a party.
Equality is achieved by leading a lady like life.
Having self respect. Respecting yourself is the only way to get others to respect yourself. You have to stand tall and hold your head high. The more you raise the bars, the more respect youll get, that much closer will we be towards being equal to men.
Being a lady today means bringing everything youve got to the table and then some more. It's about all those hidden talents we women have, being able to show ourselves is a classy way. We dont have to walk around naked to show our beauty, we are strong. Powerful.
We are the future leaders, we only have to remember to hold onto our core.
Respect. Trust. Being a Lady.
That is all it takes.
